Editorial portrait of Vogue's May issue from 2011 served as a model for creating the exact image again and developing a symbol out of it. Central idea was creating some kind of facial jewellery, contrasting Philip Traceys hat design that symbolizes privacy and freedom but also being locked up. Who could have known that these aspects played such a crucial role just a few weeks later with the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Concept, photography, mask design and retouching were done by me.
